We had a very successful rehoming event in Petmania yesterday. Thanks to Kelley and all at PetMania for hosting the event and for their generous donation to our work. Congrats to Paul who won the hamper. Thanks to all who stopped by to meet our precious pooches and thanks to all who expressed interest in giving a second chance to our beloved rescue dogs. We will be in touch soon. Hope you enjoy the photos – look at how big Dara and Rory have got, happy to see Shadow make new friends and good to see Benito so relaxed with the Paparazzi!!!
Nick & Marley are about 3 yrs old. Nick is a German Shepherd X & Marley is a German Shepherd. These two beautiful guys are extremely sweet and gentle.
Nick & Marley have been with each other for a number of years now and are very close. They do not need to be rehomed together although that would be the perfect happy ending for these guys.
To see these 2 helpless and vulnerable dogs lacking basic human interaction and to be an animal cast aside outside without love and care is a horrible thing. The harsh reality is if we are not made aware of these animals in need then we can do nothing to help. Nick & Marley’s fate may have been a very different one. Someone spoke out for Nick & Marley in their hour of need and we thank that person for picking up the phone. Now they are safe.
Nick and Marley will be microchipped, vaccinated and neutered before being rehomed. They will need some TLC while they are settling into their new home and training and they will make fantastic companions.
If you are interested in adopting Nick and/or Marley please call us on 051-841432 to arrange a homecheck. 100 % secure garden is essential.
Please meet these beautiful dogs that need a good home due to unforseen circumstances

What a difference a loving family can make. Frieda was in the Waterford SPCA family for quiet a while before she found her own forever family.
She is flourishing due to all the love and TLC she is getting.
All of us at the Waterford SPCA would like to send our sincerest thanks to Friedas new family and love getting happy updates.
